By using Pipa, you agree to these terms.

1. The Service

Pipa is a bedtime story app that provides bilingual story playback and may generate audio narration using voice synthesis technology. If you choose to provide a short voice recording, the app can create story narrations that sound like your voice.

2. Your Account

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You may only clone your own voice or a voice you have explicit permission to clone.

3. Voice Recording Consent

By recording your voice in Pipa, you consent to our processing of that recording to generate voice-synthesized audio. You confirm that:

• The voice you record is your own, or you have the recorded person's explicit consent.
• You will not use generated audio for any deceptive, harmful, or illegal purpose.

4. Content

• Stories in the Pipa library are based on public domain works or are original content owned by us.
• Generated audio is for your personal, non-commercial use only.
• You may not redistribute, sell, or publicly broadcast generated audio.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Clone someone else's voice without their permission.
• Use generated audio to impersonate, deceive, or harass anyone.
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the voice synthesis models.
• Use the service for any illegal purpose.

6. Limitation of Liability

Pipa is provided "as is." We do our best to keep the service running and the audio quality high, but we make no guarantees about uptime, audio quality, or story availability. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages.

7. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time from within the app (Settings → Delete Account). This will permanently remove your account, voice recordings, generated audio, and all associated data within 30 days. We may also suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated terms.
